Radiograph of the hand, postero-anterior view shows destruction of cortical and trabecular bone limited to the middle phalanx of the fifth finger without periosteal reaction, accompanied by soft tissue swelling and periarticular osteoporosis. The joint spaces are spared. Another osteolytic lesion is confined to the radial cortex of the middle phalanx of the second finger (arrow). Osteoporosis is noted at the fourth metacarpal head (arrowhead).

Coronal SE T1 weighted image: decreased signal intensity of the middle phalanx of the fifth finger which is surrounded by a large soft tissue mass. Hypointense lesion at the radial border of the middle phalanx of the second finger.

Contrast-enhanced coronal fat-suppressed SE T1-weighted image shows marked enhancement of the bone lesions of the second and fifth finger and of the surrounding soft tissue mass.
