    MRI of the knee
     

    Sagittal T1 SE and T2 FSE fs. A large oval mass in the infrapatellar fat pat slightly displaces the patellar tendon.

     

    Transverse T2* GRE. The mass appears hyperintense with an incomplete hypointense rim. There are no susceptibility effects.

    HE stain showing spindle-shaped myofibroblasts in a collagen matrix with some hyalinisation and slit-like vascular channels.
