  • Figure 1
    MR examination of the pelvis

    Axial SE T1-weighted image. Normal anatomy of true pelvis and parametrial structures may be observed, with normal hyperintensity of the fat surrounding the uterus

    Area of Interest: unknown; Imaging Technique: MR examination of the pelvis;

    Sagittal SE T1-weighted image. Normal fatty plane separating uterus and vescica is conserved.

    Area of Interest: unknown; Imaging Technique: MR examination of the pelvis;

    Axial FSE T2-weighted image. The infiltrating tumor invades the outer half of the myometrium. Interruption of the hypointense junctional zone may be easily observed on the anterior right corner.

    Area of Interest: unknown; Imaging Technique: MR examination of the pelvis;

    Sagittal FSE T2-weighted image. Infiltration of the hypointense cervical stroma by the tumor is easily depicted.
