Patient
female, 36 year(s)

  • Figure 1
    T2 weighted images

    T2WI demonstrated a mass in the vulva with oval morphology and smooth margins. To better clarify the tumour origin we used endovaginal contrast. The mass was located between the urethra and the vagina.

    Area of Interest: Genital / Reproductive system female; Imaging Technique: MR; Procedure: Imaging sequences; Special Focus: Neoplasia;

    The mass was hyperintense and discretely heterogeneous. There were no signs of aggression like necrosis or haemorrhage.

    Area of Interest: Genital / Reproductive system female; Imaging Technique: MR; Procedure: Imaging sequences; Special Focus: Neoplasia;

  • Figure 2
    Diffusion images

    It showed a strongly hyperintense signal on diffusion images. (b values obtained were 0, 800 and 1000)

    Area of Interest: Genital / Reproductive system female; Imaging Technique: MR-Diffusion/Perfusion; Procedure: Imaging sequences; Special Focus: Neoplasia;

    Very low ADC value that was suggestive of high cellularity.

  • Figure 3
    T1W and contrast enhancement

    The mass was isointense on T1W images.

    Area of Interest: Genital / Reproductive system female; Imaging Technique: MR; Procedure: Imaging sequences; Special Focus: Neoplasia;

    It demonstrated enhancement after endovenous contrast. We performed a dynamic study to evaluate the type of curve in the lesion.

    Area of Interest: Genital / Reproductive system female; Imaging Technique: MR-Diffusion/Perfusion; Procedure: Imaging sequences; Special Focus: Neoplasia;

    Curve type II (enhancement kinetics).
