  • Figure 1
    Lateral cephalogram

    A well-defined, unilocular, expansile adiolucency is seen, extending below the symphysis region inferiorly with an intact inferior mandibular border. The mandibular anterior teeth are floating in the lesion itself.

    Area of Interest: Head and neck; Imaging Technique: Conventional radiography; Procedure: Diagnostic procedure; Special Focus: Cysts;

  • Figure 2
    Panoramic radiograph

    A well-defined, expansile, unilocular radiolucency extending from mesial surface of right 2nd mandibular premolar to mesial surface of left 1st molar is present. Image distortion is presumably due to abnormal anatomy.

    Area of Interest: Head and neck; Imaging Technique: Conventional radiography; Procedure: Diagnostic procedure; Special Focus: Cysts;

  • Figure 3
    Postero-anterior radiograph

    A well-defined, expansile radiolucency extending below the symphysis region with intact inferior mandibular border is seen. The image is not high quality, presumably related to abnormal anatomy.

    Area of Interest: Head and neck; Imaging Technique: Conventional radiography; Procedure: Diagnostic procedure; Special Focus: Cysts;

  • Figure 4
    Axial non-contrast CT image

    Well-defined expansile unilocular cystic lesion (6x6x8 cm) involving body and anterior alveolar arch of the mandible on both sides with cortical breach at few places.

    Area of Interest: Head and neck; Imaging Technique: CT; Procedure: Diagnostic procedure; Special Focus: Cysts;

  • Figure 5
    Coronal CT image

    Unilocular cystic lesion involving body and anterior alveolar arch of the mandible with cortical breach at few places and derangement in mandibular anterior dentition.
